Supporting People with Cancer Grant Program

Community-led organisations can apply for $50,000 to $120,000 to deliver evidence-based projects that improve outcomes and support for people affected by cancer, including families and carers. Applications are submitted through Cancer Australia’s Can-Grant system. -

Safe Places for Faith Communities Grants 2025–26

NSW faith and community organisations can apply for $5,000–$250,000 to improve safety and security at places of worship and other faith gathering places, including measures like CCTV, fencing, lighting, access control, planning and training. -

Veteran Wellbeing Grants Program 2025–26
VETERANS | Applications close 5 February 2026 (9:00 pm AEDT)
Eligible organisations can apply for up to $200,000 to deliver community-based projects and activities that improve the health and wellbeing of Australia’s veteran community, with two streams available: Small Grants (up to $50,000) and Large Grants ($50,001–$200,000). -

Saluting Their Service—Commemorative Grants
VETERANS | Applications close 5 February 2026 (9:00 pm AEDT)
Grants of $10,001–$150,000 are available for organisations (and individuals, depending on entity type) nationwide to fund commemorative projects honouring Australia’s service personnel and their families—such as memorials, publications, documentaries, or digital heritage access. There are two application batches; Round 2 runs until 5 February 2026. -

Venue Upgrade Grants – Infrastructure and Equipment

NSW live music venues can apply for up to $150,000 (ex GST) to fund upgrades like soundproofing, ventilation, accessibility and energy efficiency, plus production equipment such as sound, lighting and staging (30% co-contribution required). -

Local Audience Development Grants – Promoting NSW Music

NSW music businesses and industry professionals can apply for up to $200,000 to develop technology, digital tools and online collaboration that connects fans with NSW music, grows audiences and strengthens the local music ecosystem. -

NSW Rugby World Cup Legacy Program 2025/26 – Category 1 (Infrastructure)
NSW rugby union clubs, associations and eligible local councils can apply for $25,000 to $150,000 to build or upgrade rugby facilities, including pitches, lighting and amenity buildings, with a focus on inclusive, accessible community use. -

NSW Rugby World Cup Legacy Program 2025/26 – Category 2
SPORT | Applications close 1:00 pm, Monday 16 February 2026
NSW rugby clubs and eligible organisations can apply for $5,000 to $20,000 to run new or expanded participation projects, including programs, competitions or tournaments that grow involvement and strengthen pathways. Projects must be completed by December 2027 and require a minimum 25% financial co-contribution. -

Coles Nurture Fund
BUSINESS | Applications close Friday 13 February 2026 (5:00 pm AEDT)
Small-to-medium Australian food and drink businesses can apply for grants of up to $500,000 to develop innovative products, technologies or processes that deliver sustainability benefits. Eligible businesses must earn under $25 million in annual revenue and employ 50 or fewer full-time staff, with no requirement to be a Coles supplier. -

Game on for Change – Local Impact (Small) Grants (NSW)

NSW sporting clubs and organisations, along with local partners working through sport, can apply for $15,000 to $75,000 to run local projects that help prevent domestic, family and sexual violence, strengthen respectful club culture and improve safety across the community. Applications are competitive and must be submitted via SmartyGrants. -

2026 NAIDOC Local Grants Opportunity
COMMUNITY | Applications close 19 February 2026 (3:00 pm ACT time)
Grants are available to support local NAIDOC Week activities and events across Australia, with funding streams of up to $1,500 (education institutions), up to $10,000 (small-scale grants) and up to $25,000 (large-scale grants). NAIDOC Week 2026 runs 5–12 July 2026. -

Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Grants (NSW)

Co-funding is available for eligible applicants to build, own and operate public fast and ultra-fast EV charging stations across NSW, helping fill charging blackspots and improve regional connectivity. Funding is offered across metropolitan, regional and remote streams, with higher co-funding available for remote locations. -

Westfield Local Heroes Program 2026

Nominate a local community champion for the chance to secure $20,000 for the organisation or group they represent, with $5,000 grants for finalists. Nominations are now open via Westfield’s online portal. -

Solar for Apartment Residents (SoAR) Grant Program (NSW)
Applications close 5:00 pm, 30 March 2026
Owners corporations and strata managers of eligible NSW apartment buildings (generally 3–55 units with no solar installed in the last 10 years) can apply for up to $150,000 per project to help cover up to 50% of the cost of installing a shared rooftop solar PV system to reduce energy bills. -

Submetering Grants (NSW)

NSW businesses can apply for up to $20,000 per site (covering up to 50% of project costs) to install and commission permanent energy submeters, including hardware and integration with monitoring software to better track energy use and identify savings. -

Energy Performance Services Grant (NSW)

NSW businesses that already have sub-metering in place can apply for up to $50,000 (covering up to 50% of project costs) to improve energy performance by using metering data, including planning, monitoring/analytics software, data integration and specialist support. -

Journalism Assistance Fund

Grants of $39,000 to $7.5 million are available to help support the sustainability of Australian news publishers, as part of the News Media Assistance Program, backing public interest journalism and media diversity -

Emerging NSW fashion designers, textile makers and small fashion businesses can apply for up to $10,000 to support professional development or purchase essential equipment, with priority for First Nations, Western Sydney and regional NSW applicants (ABN required). -

Strategic Opportunities Program

Community Development Grants

A non-competitive initiative supporting government‑identified community infrastructure projects that foster local employment, regional development, and social wellbeing, delivered across cities and regional communities nationwide. Eligible entities include those with an ABN or ACN, but projects must be pre‑selected by the government—no open applications.

National Energy Bill Relief – Small Businesses (NSW, 2025–26)
BUSINESS | Applications close 30 June 2026 (midnight AEST)
Eligible NSW small businesses—those with an active ABN, named on a separately metered business electricity account, and using less than 100 MWh/year—can receive up to $150 in electricity bill relief. On‑market customers will receive automatic quarterly credits of $75; embedded network customers must apply to receive the relief. -

Food Rescue Rebates (NSW EPA)

NSW not-for-profit food rescue and relief organisations can apply for a rebate of up to $2,000 (inc. GST) per financial year, per eligible address to help purchase eligible items that increase capacity to safely rescue, store and redistribute food that would otherwise go to landfill. $1,000 SafeWork NSW Small Business Rebate

NSW small businesses, sole traders, charities, and not-for-profits with 1–50 full-time equivalent employees and a valid ABN can apply once every five years for up to $1,000 towards eligible workplace health and safety items, after completing a SafeWork NSW education activity. -

Google Ad Grants (Australia)

Australian charities, ACNC‑registered nonprofits, DGR-approved entities, and income‑tax‑exempt not‑for‑profits can access up to US $10,000 per month (approx. AU $13,000) in in-kind Google Search ad credit to promote their mission, attract donors, and engage volunteers—no direct cost involved. Eligibility requires a high-quality website, registration with Google for Nonprofits, and compliance with program policies like maintaining minimum click‑through rates.
